1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the SECTIONLESS website (sectionless.com or any affiliated domain), purchasing a ticket, or attending any affiliated event (Afrobeats Happy Housr, etc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all visitors, attendees, and ticket purchasers.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not purchase tickets or attend our events.

Afrobeats Happy Hour is operated under Sectionless, a Texas-based event curation company. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.

2. Eligibility

Sectionless events are intended for adults 21+ unless otherwise specified on the event listing. By purchasing a ticket or attending an event, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement for that event. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Sectionless reserves the right to deny entry to any individual who cannot verify their age.

3. Ticket Purchases & Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final

All ticket purchases are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges under any circumstances except as described below under Canceled Events.

Non-Transferable Tickets

Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser. Tickets may not be resold, given away, or transferred to another individual without prior written authorization from Sectionless. Unauthorized ticket transfers or resales are grounds for revocation without refund.

Tickets obtained through unauthorized third-party resellers will not be honored. Sectionless is not responsible for counterfeit or invalid tickets purchased outside of our official channels.

Tickets Are Revocable Licenses

Your ticket represents a revocable license to attend the specific event for which it was issued. Sectionless reserves the right to revoke any ticket and deny entry at its sole discretion, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, venue rules, or applicable law.

Canceled, Postponed or Rescheduled Events

In the event that Sectionless cancels, postpones or reschedules an event in its entirety, ticketholders will receive a full refund of the face value of their ticket. Service fees, processing charges, and other ancillary fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

Refunds for canceled events will be processed using the original payment method within 7–10 business days of the cancellation announcement. SECTIONLESS is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by the ticketholder in connection with a canceled event.

Force Majeure

SECTIONLESS shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, government orders, public health emergencies, or venue closures. In such cases, SECTIONLESS will make reasonable efforts to reschedule and will communicate directly with ticketholders.

4. Event Entry & Conduct

By entering an SECTIONLESS event, you agree to abide by all venue rules, SECTIONLESS policies, and applicable law. SECTIONLESS reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest at its sole discretion, including without refund, for:

• Failure to present a valid government-issued ID

• Disruptive, violent, or threatening behavior

• Intoxication or possession of prohibited substances

• Violation of any of these Terms or the SECTIONLESS Community Guidelines

All exits are final. Re-entry policies vary by venue and will be communicated at the door.

5. Community Standards

Afrobeats Happy Hour is committed to maintaining an inclusive, celebratory, and safe environment for all guests. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, violence, or hate speech of any kind. This includes but is not limited to conduct that is anti-Black, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, classist, xenophobic, or ageist.

Any guest whose conduct negatively impacts others or violates our community standards may be removed from the event without refund. If you witness or experience behavior that violates these standards, please notify SECTIONLESS staff immediately.

6. Photography & Media Release

By attending a SECTIONLESS event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by SECTIONLESS and its authorized partners. This media may be used for promotional purposes across SECTIONLESS's marketing channels, including social media, the website, press materials, and other platforms.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify a staff member at the door. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. SECTIONLESS will not publish your full name without your written consent.

Any person or organization not affiliated with SECTIONLESS may not use, copy, alter, or distribute SECTIONLESS photographs, video, or other recordings without prior written authorization from SECTIONLESS.

7. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited at SECTIONLESS events unless expressly authorized in writing by SECTIONLESS:

• Weapons of any kind

• Outside alcohol or beverages

• Illegal substances

• Professional camera or recording equipment

• Drones or unmanned aerial devices

• Any item deemed unsafe by event security or venue management

8. Limitation of Liability

Attendance at any SECTIONLESS event is at your own risk. You acknowledge that live events carry inherent risks, including the potential for injury, illness, or loss of personal property. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• SECTIONLESS is not liable for any personal injury, loss of or damage to property, or other damages incurred at or in connection with our events.

• SECTIONLESS's maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to your ticket purchase or event attendance shall not exceed the face value of your ticket.

• SECTIONLESS is not responsible for any losses, costs, or expenses arising from event cancellation, postponement, or changes to event programming.

9. Privacy & Data

When you purchase a ticket or register for an SECTIONLESS event, we collect certain personal information (including name, email address, phone number and payment details) to process your order and communicate with you about events. This information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at sectionless.com.

We may use your contact information to send you updates about upcoming SECTIONLESS events and brand news. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by emailing abhh@sectionless.com or clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

10. SMS Communications

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from SECTIONLESS, you will receive event updates and announcements via text. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us at abhh@sectionless.com.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Harris County, Texas.
